Nash Community College welcomed students, faculty, and representatives from across the state for its semester University Transfer Fair, held on Apr. 17. The event, designed to support students exploring four-year degree opportunities, provided a valuable space for direct conversation with admissions professionals from more than a dozen universities and academic programs.
Held on campus, the Transfer Fair created a vibrant and informative environment where students asked questions, learned about transfer admissions processes, and explored potential academic pathways. Attendees had the opportunity to interact with representatives from the following institutions:

- UNC Pembroke
- North Carolina Wesleyan University
- C3 Program, NC State University
- Gardner-Webb University
- UNC Wilmington
- East Carolina University
- Elizabeth City State University
- Barton College
- Charleston Southern University
- NC State – College of Natural Resources
- Johnson & Wales University
- NC State University Undergraduate Admissions
- Campbell University
“Our Transfer Fair is one of the many ways we help students envision and prepare for the next step in their educational journey,” said Renee Martinez, executive director of advising services at NCC. “Whether students are just beginning to consider transferring or have a specific university in mind, this event offers a direct line to the information and resources they need to make informed decisions.”
In addition to providing practical admissions guidance, the fair also highlighted the strong transfer pathways available through NCC’s University Transfer program, Associate in Arts, Associate in Arts – Teacher Preparation, Associate in Science – Teacher Preparation, Associate in Engineering, and Associate in Science degrees and numerous articulation agreements.
