Workout Facilities
Nash Community College provides fitness and wellness resources to students, faculty, and staff in an effort to promote healthy lifestyles. On-campus resources include the Multi-Purpose room, Kate B. Reynolds Charitable Trust Healthy Places NC Fitness Room, and Cardio Room located in the Continuing Education and Public Services Building.
These facilities are open to all currently enrolled students. However, hours may vary and can be found on the NCC Campus Wellness calendar. Students must present their NCC I.D. at each visit and have a signed waiver form on file.
Intramural Sports
Students, faculty, and staff are encouraged to participate in intramural sports offered throughout the year, though generally during spring and fall semesters.
Walking Trail
Nash Community College is also home to a LiveWell and Learn Trail – a 2.5-mile fitness and nature trail that winds through the wooded area of campus with learning stations along the way. The trail is open to the public and provides an opportunity for fun and wellness for families and individuals. Walkers and runners may begin at any point on the trail. Signage indicates the trail path as it loops throughout the campus.
