Nash Community College proudly celebrated the accomplishments of more than 150 students during a series of December 2025 graduation ceremonies, recognizing graduates from the Electric Line program, Fire Academy and a joint ceremony honoring healthcare and emergency services programs.
These graduates represent months of rigorous training, hands-on instruction and dedication to careers that directly serve and strengthen local communities.
Electric Line Program Graduation
NCC recognized 47 graduates from its Electric Line program, preparing students for essential careers maintaining and restoring power infrastructure across North Carolina and beyond. Graduates completed intensive training focused on safety, technical skill and real-world utility operations.
Fire Academy Graduation
The college also celebrated 18 graduates from its Fire Academy, marking the completion of demanding physical, technical and academic training required for entry into the fire service. These graduates are now prepared to serve their communities as first responders, protecting life and property.
Healthcare and Emergency Services Joint Ceremony
A joint graduation ceremony honored students completing programs in healthcare and emergency response fields. Graduates included:
- 46 Nurse Aide
- 24 Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)
- 10 Paramedic
- 9 Phlebotomy
- 5 Emergency Dispatch Academy
These programs prepare graduates for high-impact roles in hospitals, emergency medical services, dispatch centers and healthcare facilities throughout the region. They also reflect NCC’s commitment to workforce development and student success, providing industry-aligned training that leads directly to employment in high-demand fields.
