Nash Community College Rebrand Student Services Department

At Nash Community College, we believe that every student deserves the opportunity to succeed. Student Success is at the top of our Core Values, and we’re excited to share some significant changes at Nash Community College that reflect our commitment to that value. Our Student Services Division is now the Division of Student Access and Success. This change was effective October 1, 2024. This rebranding is more than just a new name; it symbolizes our ongoing dedication to enhancing access for students to enroll at the college. Further, it highlights our commitment to elevating student engagement, retention and overall success during their time at NCC.

The college’s goal is to establish this division as the leading resource for student enrollment, engagement, retention and success within the North Carolina Community College System. NCC wants to be recognized for its collaborative efforts in promoting enrollment growth while also focusing on student engagement and retention. By leveraging innovative technologies and building strong partnerships, the college aims to create an environment where every student can thrive.

Dr. Levy Brown, Vice President of Student Access and Success, shares his enthusiasm: “We are looking forward to partnering with faculty, staff and external partners to improve outcomes for our students and communities.” This spirit of collaboration will be vital as we implement strategies that support our students on their academic journeys.

NCC President Dr. Lew K. Hunnicutt notes, “Dr. Brown came to Team Nash a little over three months ago and hit the ground running. After settling in and getting to know his Student Services team, he approached me with his rebranding idea. It only took a second to agree with his plan, as the rebranding will truly reflect what his team accomplishes every day. They are a vital cog in the Nash Community College wheel, and I remain proud of all they are accomplishing under his leadership.”
