Spring Registration in Full Swing at Nash Community College

Spring registration is open at Nash Community College for the 2025 semester, offering flexible course options and a variety of programs designed to help students advance their careers or complete their educational goals. Registration ends January 7, with classes starting January 8, and additional “Flex Start” courses available beginning January 23 and March 10.

Flex Start courses are designed for students who are unable to begin the semester on the traditional start date. These courses allow students to start their classes later in the semester, giving them a flexible, alternative option for completing their studies without missing out on the educational opportunities they need.

NCC is committed to supporting students in achieving their goals by meeting them where they are. Whether you’re pursuing a high school diploma, a technical certificate or an associate degree, NCC provides tailored learning opportunities aligned with regional industry needs. With 54 degree programs, 17 diploma programs and 76 certificate offerings, students gain the essential skills needed in fields like healthcare, engineering, early childhood education and advanced manufacturing and more, directly connecting them to the job market. The fall semester saw an 11.5% growth, which includes a 14.5% growth in the adult learner population.

The school places a strong focus on individuals looking to upskill or reskill. NCC’s Continuing Education programs serve a large portion of its student body and offer training in technical skills and trades, preparing students to advance in their current fields or transition into new career paths.

NCC’s emphasis on affordable education ensures that cost is not a barrier to success. Through the NextNC Scholarship, eligible students can receive up to $3,000 in tuition assistance, covering the full cost of attending NCC. This scholarship can be especially valuable for students. Additionally, NCC offers additional NCC Foundation Scholarships, payment plans and financial aid options.
