New Student Checklist
  1. Complete the Residency Application.
  2. Next, complete the NCC Admissions Application.
  3. Request transcripts from any high school or college you attended. Then mail them to PO Box 7488, Rocky Mount, NC 27804 or email them to nccregistrar@nashcc.edu.
  4. Apply for Financial Aid. Be sure to check your Student Email frequently in case more information is requested from the Financial Aid office after you apply. Look for an award letter in your Self-Service account to verify your approval.
  5. Apply for NCC Foundation Scholarships.
  6. Complete Placement Testing if directed to by the Admissions Office.
  7. Enroll in Classes. Email the Advising Center from your student email at advising@nashcc.edu or call 252-428-7350 to make an appointment to make a plan and enroll.

Earn tuition-free, college credit while in high school!

Nash Community College’s Career and College Promise (CCP) Dual Enrollment Program offers eligible high school students the opportunity to earn employment credentials or college degree credits. Students can also earn dual credit – meeting high school graduation requirements with college courses.

The CCP Program at Nash Community College includes 4 university transfer pathways and 23 Career and Technical Education (CTE) pathways.

Programs offered

The Center for Industry Technology and Innovation (CITI) High School is a collaborative endeavor between the Nash-Rocky Mount Public Schools and Nash Community College. Students at CITI High School will be able to complete studies in one of the unique programs as part of their high school graduation credits.

  • Automotive Systems Technology
  • Hospitality Management
  • Industrial Systems Technology
  • Information Technology: Cybersecurity
  • Medical Office Administration: Patient Services

The Nash-Rocky Mount Early College High School (NRM – ECHS) is a cooperative innovative high school that is in partnership with Nash Community College (NCC). 

Students who are accepted to the NRM-ECHS are eligible for three degree options at NCC:
  • Associates in Arts
  • Associates in Science
  • Associates in Engineering
